A Fire Weather Watch is in effect Thursday afternoon and early evening for Cheyenne county in Colorado, Wallace, Wichita, Greeley and Logan counties in Kansas. Dangerous fire weather conditions are possible with strong southwesterly winds gusting to 35 to 45 mph, and humidity near 10 percent. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged. Blowing dust will produce reduced visibilities and poor air quality for those generally east of a line from Kit Carson, Colorado to Goodland, Oberlin and Norton, Kansas Thursday afternoon.
