YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Another round of accumulating snow is expected to begin across western portions of the Tri-State Area late tonight carrying into Monday.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Yuma and Kit Carson counties as well as the Tri-State counties along the Kansas/Nebraska border throughout the entirety of Monday. Snowfall accumulation totals in these areas expect to reach up to between 3 and 5 inches with locally higher amounts possible. Some blowing snow is possible across Yuma and Kit Carson counties during the late morning and into the afternoon with gusts around 35 mph. Hazardous traveling conditions due to slick roads and reduced visibilities are anticipated.  Reductions in visibility are possible along the Interstate 70 corridor due to brief heavy snow showers during the afternoon. If traveling keep up to date with the most current weather conditions.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected to be required today. Please report any snowfall totals to the National Weather Service in Goodland.
