This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect going into tonight for Yuma in Colorado, Dundy and Hitchcock counties in Nebraska, Cheyenne, Rawlins, Thomas, and Logan counties in Kansas. Up to 2 to 4 inches of total snowfall accumulation is expected with locally higher amounts possible. Elsewhere, light accumulations are possible, tapering east and south. Blowing snow will also be impactful lowering visibilities making traveling hazardous, mainly in the Advisory area where northwest winds could gust up to 40 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... There will be another chance for snow Sunday night into Monday. Accumulating snow is currently expected with these chances. While exact totals are uncertain at this time, higher amounts currently look to favor along and north of Interstate 70. Elevated to Near Critical fire weather conditions are possible Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon for those generally along and south of Interstate 70. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
