This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight An area of snow will move across the northeast plains today, exiting into Nebraska and Kansas tonight. Some areas will have a period of heavy snow, mainly this morning around Fort Morgan and Akron, and this afternoon in the far northeast corner. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected in areas northeast of a line from Fort Collins to Limon. Further west, only a few light snow showers are expected. West winds will gust up to 40 mph on the plains and up to 60 mph on the east slopes of the Front Range today, then diminish this evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday The next system will move into the region Sunday, bringing snow to mountains. Snow showers are expected to move onto the plains for Sunday night and Monday. Dry weather with a warming trend is expected for Tuesday and Wednesday, with some cooling and mountain snow likely by Thursday and a chance of rain or snow on the plains. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
