This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY... Northwest winds gusting up to 50 mph are forecast during the day Tuesday. The strongest gusts are expected generally along and west of Kansas Highway 27. A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Tuesday evening through late Wednesday night for counties along and south of Interstate 70. Snowfall accumulations of 5 to 7 inches are currently forecast with locally higher amounts possible in the watch area. North of Interstate 70, 3 to 5 inches of snowfall is forecast. Northeast to northwest winds gusting up to 45 mph will produce some blowing and drifting snow, making for hazardous travel conditions. Stay tuned for future updates.
