 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Northwesterly winds gusting up to around 40 mph are expected within the Tri-State Area this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Southerly winds gusting up to around 40 mph are possible during the day on Friday, strongest along and west of Kansas Highway 25.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. Spotters are encouraged to report any visibility reductions or ice accumulation that have occurred to the National Weather Service in Goodland, via social media or telephone.
