WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Expect clouds, fog and areas of freezing drizzle across the northeast plains of Colorado this morning. Elevated surfaces and bridges may be slick due to the freezing drizzle. Another round of freezing drizzle is possible again tonight across lower elevations with slick elevated surfaces. Use extra caution with slower speeds this morning and again tonight. Expect scattered snow showers over the far northern mountains this afternoon and tonight, but only light accumulations expected.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Periods of light snow will fall in the mountains throughout days 2 through 7, but snowfall amounts and travel impact will likely be minor most days. There is a threat for moderate impacts Wednesday into Thursday. Across the plains, light freezing drizzle is expected to continue into Wednesday which will lead to slick and potentially icy roads. There should be an increasing chance for light snow Wed PM, mainly across the mountains and northern sections of the plains. However, the potential for significant impacts are quite low at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today.
