YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Light freezing drizzle is expected tonight west of Highway 25. The majority of the ice will be over the counties along the Colorado border. Small amounts of ice accumulation will likely lead to slick roadways. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued as a result. In addition to the freezing drizzle, fog may also occur in the advisory area, with visibility down to a mile overnight into Tuesday morning.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Light freezing drizzle is expected to occur through the morning before coming to an end during the afternoon. The Winter Weather Advisory for freezing drizzle lasts through the morning.  Northwest winds gusting 25 to 40 mph are forecast from late morning through the afternoon Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
