WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Weak snow showers are possible through late afternoon for the northern peaks above 10k ft. Elsewhere, mostly sunny skies are expected today. Tonight, parts of the urban corridor and northeastern plains could experience areas of fog into early Tuesday morning. Additionally, there is a chance of freezing drizzle mainly after midnight through Tuesday morning. Allow enough time on the Tuesday morning commute as patchy ice sports could occur on roadways.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Periods of light snow will fall in the mountains throughout days 2 through 7, but snowfall amounts and travel impact will likely be minor most days. There is a threat for moderate impacts Wednesday into Thursday. Across the plains, light freezing drizzle Tuesday will lead to slick and potentially icy roads. Increasing chance for light snow Wed PM, but potential for significant impacts is decreasing.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today.
