This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Winds will be on the increase through this afternoon, with gusts of 35 to 50 mph in most areas and up to 70 mph over the higher mountains and east slopes. Winds will diminish this evening. Snow, moderate to heavy during brief intervals in the mountains, will diminish later this afternoon and evening. Accumulations of 2 to 4 inches can be expected in the higher mountains through this evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Snow is expected for much of the forecast area Wednesday afternoon into Thursday along with colder temperatures. The majority of the area would see light snowfall amounts from this system but the far southern part of our forecast area could see moderate snowfall. There will be a chance of snow showers in the mountains Friday, and briefly on the plains Friday evening. The weekend looks mostly dry with snow developing in the high country by Sunday afternoon and continuing into early next work week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
