WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Winds will increase today, with gusts of 35 to 50 mph in most areas and up to 60 mph over the higher mountains and east slopes. Light snow over the northern mountains will diminish this afternoon. Accumulations of an inch or two will be common, with up to 4 inches in the higher mountains near the Wyoming border.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Snow is expected for much of the forecast area Wednesday afternoon into Thursday along with colder temperatures. The majority of the area would see light snowfall amounts from this system but the far southern part of our forecast area could see moderate snowfall. There will be a chance of snow showers in the mountains Friday, and briefly on the plains Friday evening. The weekend looks mostly dry with snow developing in the high country by Sunday afternoon and continuing into early next work week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
