YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Patchy dense fog may develop a few hours on either side of sunrise this morning, mainly along and north of Interstate 70.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Precipitation... predominately in the form of snow... will develop over much of the Tri-State area Wednesday and Wednesday night. Precipitation will likely be intermittent in nature. Snow accumulations ranging anywhere from a dusting to several inches are possible, mainly along and north of Interstate 70. A brief period of freezing drizzle cannot be ruled out Wednesday morning. Locally hazardous travel conditions... mainly in association with snow and blowing snow... are expected. Residents and travelers are encouraged to stay tuned for later updates.  Wind chill readings ranging from 15 to 25 below zero are anticipated across the entire Tri-State area Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
