YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Patchy fog producing reduced visibilities will be possible after midnight along and east of a line from Haigler to Colby and Oakley.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Patchy fog producing reduced visibilities will be possible through shortly after sunrise Tuesday morning for those along and east of a line from Benkelman to Colby and Oakley.  Accumulating snow is expected over much of the area Wednesday through Wednesday night. For some, a mix of light rain, freezing rain and sleet will be possible in the morning and early afternoon before changing over to light snow, possibly creating slick spots on elevated surfaces and roadways. Snowfall accumulations ranging from a dusting to three inches are currently forecast with the highest amounts north of a line from Flagler to Trenton. Northeast to northwest winds gusting 30 to 40 mph will combine with any falling snow to produce blowing snow and reduced visibilities. Residents and travelers are encouraged to stay tuned for later updates.  Wind chill readings ranging from 12 below to 28 below zero are forecast Wednesday night through Thursday morning with the coldest readings across Yuma, Dundy and Hitchcock counties.  Wind chill readings ranging from 10 below to 15 below zero are forecast Thursday night through Friday morning across the Tri-State area.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
