YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Accumulating snow is anticipated over much of the area Wednesday through Wednesday night. Accumulations ranging from a dusting to four inches are currently forecast with the highest amounts north of a line from Benkelman to Flagler. Northeast to northwest winds gusting 35 to 45 mph will combine with any falling snow to produce blowing snow and reduced visibilities. Residents and travelers are encouraged to stay tuned for later updates.  Wind chill readings ranging from 15 below to 28 below zero are anticipated Wednesday night through Thursday morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
