YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Snow chances increase mainly along and west of Highway 27 tonight and into Thursday morning. Brief periods of moderate snow intensity combined with wind gusts up to 40 mph may lead to significant visibility reductions over short distances and quick accumulations. Use caution if traveling as this may affect the morning commute. .  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Northwest winds gusting around 50 are likely on Thursday in East Central Colorado. This will create difficult driving conditions especially for high profile vehicles.  Quick hitting snow showers combined with the strong winds may result in locally hazardous travel conditions across the area Thursday afternoon. Significant reduction in visibility will occur if experience one of the snow showers. Use caution if traveling.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed tonight but snowfall reports will be appreciated.
