WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snow will continue in the northern Colorado mountains through tonight with slick travel conditions. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches can be expected in elevations above 9,000 feet. On the plains, scattered snow showers can be expected into early this evening, with the highest coverage over the Palmer Divide area where an inch or so of snow accumulation is possible. A few spots that see light accumulations may also have slick roads at times.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  During the entire long term period, the mountains will receive light snowfall daily. The continual stretch of snow will impact travel and highlights may be needed. The plains will see a chance of freezing drizzle and light snow on Saturday and another chance of light snow on Sunday.  Cold temperatures will bring significant impacts later Saturday through Tuesday morning. Low temperatures may reach -10 F or below across the plains and I-25 corridor Sunday and Monday nights. Highs will stay in the teens or single digits Sunday through Tuesday.  As for winds, the mountains, foothills, and some areas on the adjacent plains will see strong gusts up to 65 mph late Thursday into Thursday night.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
