WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  The storm system across southeast Colorado this morning will move into Kansas and weaken this afternoon. Snow could still be heavy at times across Lincoln county this morning with another 1 to 3 inches of snow expected. Else where on the plains, a slight chance of snow this morning with little if any accumulation. The snow will diminish this afternoon. There will also be a chance of light snow in the mountains through this evening with up to 2 inches of snow. Temperatures will remain cold with readings only in the 20s to around 30 degrees this afternoon over the plains.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Temperatures will remain below normal each afternoon through late next week. Sunday night through Monday, snowfall chances across the region are trended downwards as the next system moves too far south. This pattern could lead to light accumulating snowfall (1-3 inches) mainly for Park, Clear Creek, and Summit counties and possibly dusting in the plains.  By Wednesday through Friday, a few weak incoming systems will provide enough moisture to increase light accumulating snow each afternoon for areas above 10k ft.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed, but snowfall reports will be appreciated.
