YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Snow and freezing drizzle may lead to hazardous driving conditions today. The highest additional snow amounts of three to five inches will be north of Highway 36. Snow amounts decrease to the south to around a half an inch at Tribune. In addition to the snow, freezing drizzle may occur this afternoon in some locations leading to a glaze of ice on exposed surfaces. Precipitation chances expect to end from west to east later this afternoon and evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Another round of snowfall is forecast for Friday night and Saturday. There is a potential for a couple inches of snow with this event.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report any amount of snow accumulation to the National Weather Service in Goodland via social media or telephone.
