This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... Light rain and snow will continue through most of the night. Light accumulations of snow (generally under an inch) are possible mainly north of I-70. Slick spots may develop on highways from the wintry precipitation. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... The next winter storm system to impact the Plains will move through Tuesday night through Wednesday evening. However confidence is growing in the potential for accumulating snowfall as a Winter Storm Watch has been issued for locations along and north of Interstate 70. Hazardous travel along with other potential winter weather related impacts are expected, though how extensive and how impactful remains uncertain due to storm track uncertainty. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time. However, any reports of snow or extreme reductions in visibility are appreciated!
