This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow will occur over the higher elevations this morning but decrease by afternoon. Additional accumulations of 4 to 6 inches will be possible over the Gore and Park Ranges. Meanwhile it will be windy in the mountains and in and near the foothills. A few gusts from 60 to 70 mph may occur late this morning into the early afternoon hours before decreasing by late afternoon. Snow will increase in the mountains late tonight as a storm system moves into the area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Another weather system will bring more snow to the high country along with a good chance of snow across the plains on Wednesday. Additional accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are likely in the mountains near the Wyoming border, with 1 to 3 inches in the rest of the mountains and the northeast corner of Colorado. In the I-25 corridor including Denver, an inch or two of slushy snow is possible during the day Wednesday, but warm temperatures will limit any possible impact. Snow is likely again in the mountains starting about Sunday, with a slight chance of rain or snow on the plains by Monday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
