YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Considerable snow melt on parking lots, sidewalks, and area roads will turn into ice as temperatures fall below freezing this evening and overnight. Locally hazardous travel conditions are likely. Drivers are urged to slow down and exercise additional caution, especially on bridges and overpasses.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Another winter weather event may impact the Tri-State area Sunday night through Monday night. Details remain uncertain, however there is a possibility for moderate impacts to occur with this upcoming storm system including light snow accumulations and gusty northwest winds which may create some reduced visibilities.  Wind chill readings in the single digits below zero are possible Tuesday night through Wednesday morning across far eastern Colorado.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated.
