This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the northwest half of the Tri-State area through this afternoon. Visibility under a mile at times in the falling snow along with additional snowfall amounts of up to three inches will be the main threats. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will create some blowing and drifting snow as well. Finally, there may be a thin layer of ice under the snow on any untreated highways. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... Another winter weather event may impact the Tri-State area Sunday night through Monday evening.
