A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the northwest half of the Tri- State Area through this afternoon. Visibility under a mile at times in the falling snow along with snow amounts up to five inches will be the main threat. In addition, there may be a thin layer of ice under the snow on any untreated highways. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... Another winter weather event may impact the Tri-State area Sunday night through Monday evening. Details are still vague, however there is a possibility for moderate impacts to occur with this upcoming storm system. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
