YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Localized areas of blowing snow may be possible in areas that are both along and west of the Colorado border and along and north of Interstate 70 today causing reduced visibilities and hazardous driving conditions.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Wind chill readings may approach 15 degrees below zero across western Yuma and Kit Carson counties during the early morning hours of Friday, Saturday, and Monday.  Dangerously cold low temperatures and wind chills are currently forecasted across the region on Wednesday night into the following morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required. We would appreciate reports of reduced visibilities due to blowing snow via telephone and social media.
