YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY...  A Blizzard Warning is in effect for Yuma and Kit Carson counties in Colorado, Cheyenne and Sherman counties in Kansas, and Dundy County in Colorado.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Sherman County and Cheyenne County CO. Near blizzard conditions are likely for both these counties today. This could result in near zero visibilities for a brief time.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for counties along Highway 40 and east of Highway 27 due to a two to three hour window for freezing drizzle to occur this afternoon ahead of the snow. A glaze of ice could is likely on bridges and highways in general.  A High Wind Warning is in effect for those along and west of Kansas Highway 27.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  A High Wind Warning remains in effect through the day Wednesday for those along and west of Kansas Highway 27.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
