YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Blizzard Warning is in effect for Yuma and Kit Carson counties in Colorado, Cheyenne County in Kansas, and Dundy County in Colorado.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Hitchcock County in Nebraska and Rawlins and Sherman counties in Kansas.  A High Wind Warning is in effect for those along and west of Kansas Highway 27.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  A High Wind Warning remains in effect through the day Wednesday for those along and west of Kansas Highway 27.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected. We would appreciate reports of wind gusts over 55 mph, blizzard conditions and snowfall reports via telephone and social media.
