YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Wind chill readings near to below zero will occur this morning during the work and school commutes. Wind chill readings as low as -10 degrees are possible, mainly along and west of Kansas Highway 27. Be sure to dress appropriately and cover any exposed skin.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Critical fire weather conditions look to develop across the area Friday. A wind shift with an associated cold front may lead to unpredictable fire behavior. Strong to potentially damaging winds are possible during the afternoon and evening hours along with some blowing dust.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required.
