WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  It will be chilly today with below normal temperatures topping out in the 30s across the plains. A few light snow showers are possible along the western slopes in the mountains and a few flurries may develop just south of the Cheyenne Ridge. Minimal accumulation, if any, is expected today.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Snow and the coldest air of the season so far will settle across the area Thursday and Thursday night. Slick and hazardous travel conditions will develop in and near Front Mountains and I-25 Corridor, as a few inches of snow accumulation will be possible. Lighter amounts can be expected over the eastern plains. Highs on Thursday will only make it into the 20s, with teens possible through much of the day and lows dropping into the single digits Thursday night. Below zero readings will occur across much of the high country.  A gradual warming trend can then be expected this weekend into early next week, along with a return of dry conditions.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
