WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snowfall will linger throughout the I-25 corridor and southern foothills until late morning hours thus allow extra time for the morning commute. With surface and road temperatures being below freezing, snow covered roads and slick spots are possible especially along I-70 and I-25. A cold front will arrive this evening dropping overnight lows to the mid teens for the plains/urban corridor and single digits for the mountains/valleys.   .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Snow and the coldest air of the season so far will settle across the area Thursday and Thursday night. Slick and hazardous travel conditions will develop in and near Front Mountains and I-25 Corridor, as a few inches of snow accumulation will be possible. Lighter amounts can be expected over the eastern plains. Highs on Thursday will only make it into the 20s, with teens possible through much of the day and lows dropping into the single digits Thursday night. Below zero readings will occur across much of the high country.  A gradual warming trend can then be expected this weekend into early next week, along with a return of dry conditions.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
