WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Winds will be gusty today and will increase tonight as a mountain wave develops. Gusts could reach as high as 55 mph across the northern foothills and mountains of Boulder and Larimer Counties. Across the plains northeast of Greeley and Limon gusts to 40 mph can be expected this afternoon.  Low temperatures tonight will be near freezing in areas east of Interstate 25 where a frost or freeze is possible again.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  A few weaker systems will result in a few shots at light snowfall for the high country Tuesday eve and Wednesday.  A more organized system will bring light to moderate snow amounts to the northern mountains late Wednesday through Thursday. This system will also bring a mix of rain and snow showers to the foothills and plains and light snow accumulation is possible there.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
