WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected over the mountains through the evening hours. Scattered coverage can be expected over the plains. Some of the storms could produce wind gusts to 40 mph and small hail. Limited flash flooding is also possible today over the alpine burn areas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Another round of showers and a few thunderstorms can be expected Monday. Stronger storms will once again be capable of producing small hail, gusty winds, and a limited threat of flash flooding in recent burn areas.  Only isolated showers are expected on Tuesday, with drier weather Wednesday and Thursday. Scattered mountain showers will return for Friday and Saturday with a slight chance of showers on the plains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
