 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon, with drier conditions in Eastern Colorado and stronger winds across Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska. Wind direction may fluctuate through the day, especially near and west of the Colorado border. Use extra caution with fires and sparks.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Friday afternoon, near critical to briefly critical fire weather conditions are possible in portions of Northwest Kansas. Wind direction will also likely fluctuate which could make any fires more hazardous.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not needed.
