WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected over the mountains today, more numerous in areas north of Berthoud Pass. Some areas above timberline will see a dusting of snow. On the plains, a few afternoon and evening storms are expected along and north of Interstate 76. The showers and storms today are expected to produce only light rain, with some storms also producing wind gusts up to 35 mph. The showers will end in the mountains in the early evening, and across the plains by midnight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Sunday through Tuesday will be hot and dry with temperatures well into the 90s across the far northeastern plains. The primary weather concern will be elevated fire weather conditions across the plains each day due to low relative humidity and moderate winds.  On Wednesday and Thursday, a cold front will move through bringing cooler temperatures and much wetter conditions. Scattered to widespread showers and storms are expected both days. There will be a limited chance of burn area flash flooding each day.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to send wind or rainfall reports.
