YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Strong and potentially severe thunderstorms are possible through about 6 PM MDT (7 PM CDT) along or in the vicinity of Kansas highway 27. The primary hazards include wind gusts to 60 mph and hail up to one inch in diameter.  A second round of strong and potentially severe thunderstorms are possible from 7 PM MDT (8 PM CDT) to 9 PM MDT (10 PM CDT) for locations along and north of the Kansas Nebraska border. Elevated fire weather conditions are possible each afternoon from Sunday through Tuesday along and west of Highway 27.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated.
