Wind of this magnitude may create difficult travel conditions for high- profile vehicles, especially on east-west highways such as Interstate 70, where cross winds will be strongest. The gusty winds will lead to near critical fire weather conditions this afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... Friday strong to severe thunderstorms may occur over the northern part of the Tri-State Area.
