YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  There is a small threat for thunderstorms through the afternoon hours. A few cloud to ground lightning strikes are possible should storms form. Patchy fog is expected to develop near the Kansas and Colorado border tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Warm and dry conditions will return to the area during the start of next week with temperatures nearing 90 degrees. Fire danger will increase as well, with elevated fire danger conditions expected on Tuesday as southerly winds increase to 15 to 25 mph.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
