WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Warmer weather is expected today, with highs in the mid to upper 90s across the plains. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are forecast this afternoon, mainly over South Park and the southern Foothills. A few storms are also possible from the Palmer Divide into the northeastern plains. Gusty winds and small hail will be possible with the stronger storms this afternoon, along with a limited threat of burn area flash flooding.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  It will continue to be hot Friday with highs in the mid to upper 90s across the plains. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible over the high country. Chances for rain increase this weekend as better monsoon moisture arrives. Heavy rain will be possible Saturday and possibly Sunday, with an elevated risk of burn area flash flooding. The pattern will turn warmer and drier next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight but rainfall reports would be greatly appreciated.
