YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop around 2 PM MDT (3 PM CDT), moving toward the southeast and out of the area by midnight. The primary hazards will be sudden and potentially damaging wind gusts to 75 mph, lightning sparked fires and a brief period of locally heavy rainfall.  A Heat Advisory is in effect for portions of the area during the afternoon and early evening hours on Saturday. Heat index values of up to 108 degrees are forecast.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
