This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible through about midnight for those along and north of Interstate 70. The primary hazard will be localized, sudden and potentially damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph followed by cloud to ground lightning which may initiate wildfires. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... There is a Marginal threat for severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening for locations generally east of a line from Parks, Nebraska to Oakley and Quinter, Kansas. The primary hazards will be wind gusts to 70 mph, hail up to an inch in diameter and cloud to ground lightning which may initiate wildfires. A Heat Advisory is in effect for Red Willow, Decatur, Norton, Sheridan, Graham and Gove counties Friday afternoon and early evening where heat index values will reach up to 105 degrees. A Heat Advisory is in effect for those generally along and east of Kansas Highway 25. Heat index values up to 107 degrees are expected. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
