This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop over the mountains by later this morning before spreading over portions of the plains this afternoon. The storms will be more numerous along and south of the Interstate 70 corridor, with lesser chances further north and east across the plains. The main impact again will be gusty winds up to 45 mph with the showers and storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Wednesday, scattered afternoon and evening storms will bring a limited threat of burn area flash flooding. Thursday will be more dry and there will be elevated fire weather conditions across much of the plains in the afternoon. Friday looks to be the hottest day of the period and with high temperatures near or above 100 F across much of the plains. Heat risk will increase significantly and a Heat Advisory currently seems likely for the northeast corner, though most of the plains will at least be considered. Moisture will also increase again and there will probably be at least a limited threat of burn area flash flooding through the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
