Mountains and valleys will reach the mid 70s to lower 80s. If you have plans for outdoor activities, stay hydrated and wear sunscreen today. Mostly clear skies are expected through tonight. There is no threat of burn area flash flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Record heat will be possible on Monday afternoon across the plains with temperatures from the upper 90s to 105. There will also be elevated fire danger on the plains for much of the upcoming week with plenty of heat, low humidities and breezing conditions. There will be scattered showers and thunderstorm each day over the mountains with lesser chances moving east over the plains.
