YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory remains in effect for the north and eastern portions of the Tri-State Area where heat index values will be around 105 this afternoon.  A Red Flag Warning remains in effect this afternoon for Sherman, Thomas, Logan, Wallace and Wichita counties due to breezy winds and low relative humidity.  Isolated to scattered thunderstorms should form after 3 PM MDT north of Burlington to Norton line. Wind gusts of 60-70 MPH will be a threat with any storms that form through 1 AM MDT.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  There is low confidence any thunderstorms will form Monday afternoon or evening. If storms do form the main threat will be gusts of 60-70 MPH.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
