This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Showers and isolated storms are possible late this afternoon through the evening mainly north of Interstate 70. Gusty winds of 50-60 mph and hail up to quarter size, along with heavy rainfall, are the primary hazards. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... Isolated severe storms are again possible Sunday along and east of a Yuma, Colorado to Quinter, Kansas line with the possibility of localized wind gusts over 60 mph and hail as large as quarters. Well above normal temperatures return for Independence Day with heat indices approaching 105 degrees along and east of Highway 83.
