This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... An area of showers and non severe thunderstorms are expected along and east of Hitchcock county to Graham county before sunrise. Locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds appears to be the primary hazard. Showers and isolated severe storms are again possible this afternoon and evening mainly north of Interstate 70. Damaging winds of 60-70 mph and locally heavy rainfall are the primary hazards. An isolated instance of large hail up to quarter size can't be ruled out however. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... Isolated severe storms are again possible Sunday along and east of a Yuma, Colorado to Quinter, Kansas line with the possibility of localized wind gusts over 60 mph and hail as large as quarters. Well above normal temperatures return for Independence Day with heat indices approaching 105 degrees along and east of Highway 83.
