This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... Thunderstorms developing in the lee of the Rockies this afternoon will increase in coverage and track eastward into western Kansas late this afternoon and evening. Any thunderstorm will be capable of producing brief, localized wind gusts up to 65 mph. Locations situated west of Kansas Highway 25 are at relative greatest risk for locally damaging winds and dangerous cloud to ground lightning, mainly between 4 PM and 10 PM MDT. Areas repeatedly affected by thunderstorms can expect locally heavy rainfall. Widespread and or significant severe weather is NOT expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
