The western half of the plains can expect scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm to develop late this afternoon and continue overnight. There will be a limited threat of flash flooding over the alpine burn scars. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Expect scattered to widespread showers and storms over the mountains and foothills during the afternoon and evening Sunday and Monday. Burn area flash flooding will be possible. It will be warmer and drier for Tuesday and Wednesday. Cooler temperatures and increased precipitation are possible again by Thursday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
