YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Temperatures will continue remain above normal in the the 90s for a few more hours this evening before cooling off. Southerly winds that have been persistent all day will continue, before tapering later this evening.  An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible for a few hours this evening in portions of Yuma, Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Much above normal temperatures will continue through Monday with highs in the upper 90s to lower 100s.  Elevated fire weather conditions are expected once again on Sunday in the Colorado and Kansas border area.  Scattered thunderstorms will occur Tuesday through Thursday, with a few strong storms possible.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
