YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Temperatures will continue to be much above normal with highs today in the upper 90s to lower 100s.  Elevated fire weather conditions will occur today near the Colorado and Kansas border area. Low humidity and south winds gusting up to 50 mph will make fires difficult to control.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Much above normal temperatures will continue through Monday with highs in the upper 90s to lower 100s.  Elevated fire weather conditions are expected once again on Sunday in the Colorado and Kansas border area.  Scattered thunderstorms will occur Tuesday through Thursday, with a few strong storms possible.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required.
