This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Tonight... Isolated strong to marginally severe thunderstorms may occur after 2am MT, generally east of Kansas Highway 25. Hail up to quarters will be the primary threat with any storm. Storm activity should shift east of Norton and Graham counties by 7 AM CDT. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... A prolonged period of well above normal temperatures is expected through Monday. Overnight low temperatures will be around 80 degrees especially Saturday and Sunday nights. This may increase the risk for heat related illnesses to people, pets and livestock. The hot temperatures combined with breezy to windy southerly winds and low relative humidity will support elevated fire weather conditions. Caution should be used if burning outdoors. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight. We would appreciate any reports of hail, gusty winds and heavy rain through the night.
