This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Strong to potentially severe thunderstorms may occur after midnight over generally east of the Colorado Kansas border. Large hail up to half dollar size will be the main threat. Storm activity should shift east of Norton and Graham counties by 7 AM CDT. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... Hot temperatures are expected Friday through Monday with readings in the middle 90s to as high as 105 degrees. The hot temperatures combined with breezy to windy southerly winds and low relative humidity will support elevated fire weather conditions. Caution should be used if burning outdoors. Heat advisories may be needed Saturday night and Sunday night for locations generally east of Kansas Highway 25. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated.
